10 Most Protected WWE Wrestlers Ever

8. Roman Reigns

As mentioned in the introduction, it is pretty difficult to qualify this in truth. Wrestlers at the top of WWE are wrestling way more than they ever were years ago. John Cena has been incredibly protected, but he has still managed to lose a number of clean matches over the years, not to mention a load of matches before his rise to the top as the Doctor of Thuganomics.

Roman Reigns is different though. Since the break-up of The Shield in 2014, Roman Reigns has only lost singles matches thanks to Money in the Bank briefcase cash-ins and shenigans. The Shield only lost a handful of times as a team before this, and it was this protection that contributed so well to all three men making a smooth transition to the top of the singles card.

It's a running joke, but Roman really has looked strong since breaking out into the singles world.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
