10 Most Punchable Faces In Wrestling Today

6. Lio Rush

Austin Theory Jeff Hardy
WWE

He’s now signed to AEW, but his recent run with WWE must be some of the most underrated work in a while. As the returning Bobby Lashley’s mouthpiece, he was absolute dynamite, and could be said to have kickstarted The All Mighty’s recent career-best work.

Man, was he annoying, though. Rush’s schtick was little man syndrome personified. He’d lead Lashley to the ring while utilising his motormouth talents on the mic, writing cheques his ass couldn’t cash, but accompanied by a guy who could do the cashing for him.

When Lashley finally turned on his hype man, the crowd went wild. No matter that Lashley was twice his height and thrice his width. The future World Champion picked up Rush like he was nothing, hurled him near enough through the mat, and the Houston crowd applauded the act like he’d overcome a colossus.

Rush was released in 2020 and toured the indies for a while before being snapped up by Tony Khan. If the AEW bookers have any sense, they’ll get that yap running as soon as possible. Rush is a terrific talker, brilliantly, consistently annoying.
