10 Most Radical Body Transformations In Wrestling

5. Brian Cage

Lucha Underground/NWA Hollywood

In today's pro wrestling landscape, size still matters, but it seems like it matters less than ever before. Some of the most incredible stars in the sport - men like Ricochet, Kenny Omega, and AJ Styles - are under six feet tall, and while they're certainly in shape, their bodies clearly put a priority on athleticism over aesthetics. As wrestling continues to get more competitive, sizzle over steak simply won't do.

Brian Cage - who competes for Lucha Underground and other outfits - is the exception to the rule, boasting the kind of physique that would have been impressive in any era of the sport. What makes his girth so odd, though, is the fact that up until around 2013, he was fairly puny. Like other stars before him, Cage developed an interest in bodybuilding and it led him to become a behemoth.

Unfortunately for Cage, though, his timing was off - during his brief run in WWE developmental (2008 to 2009) he hadn't yet discovered whatever secrets he eventually would, and the company cut the near-cruiserweight before he ever appeared on TV.
