10 Most Random Full-Time WWE Returns

9. Sable

Sable’s return wasn’t just incredibly random, but it was insanely unlikely. Despite being the most popular female talent the company had ever employed at that point, you would have never guessed we’d see her in a wrestling ring again.

That’s because after leaving the company in 1999, she sued WWE for sexual harassment and unsafe working conditions, to the tune of $110 million! They eventually settled out of court, but you couldn’t blame either side for not wanting to work with each other going forward, but somehow they decided to just that in 2003.

It was a weird thing all around. Sable was no longer the ass kicking trash talker she used to be, and instead was more of a cougar type character preying on poor (or lucky?) Torrie Wilson. And of course, Vince McMahon being Vince McMahon, made out with Sable just for the hell of it.

She again left the company in 2004, never to return to WWE, even for a cameo appearance. However, her time there did produce one major success: love with Brock Lesnar!

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
