https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQqf7-vkiOY Many people have shot on WWE and Vincent Kennedy McMahon over the years, usually from the comfortable yet bitter perspective of having recently been released. Paul Heyman, of course, tends to say what he thinks whenever he likes, a character trait thats won him few friends in the WWE office. Most of the people that want to hear Vince McMahon stories want to hear about him blowing up, or being wrong or just plain crazy. Heyman one of the smartest men in wrestling takes a different route in this clip, laying out the reason for his elevation to Vinces side, and the reason for his departure. Heyman says that McMahon is frequently surrounded by people too scared of him to tell him what they actually think, and so puts a premium on people who actually will tell him when they believe hes wrong. A mans man, and someone who grew up in the sixties and seventies in the professional wrestling business, McMahon despises weakness and loves strong-willed people but only up to a point. Heyman was brought in to argue devils advocate and present a contrary opinion on occasion he just had no filter and would never, ever shut the hell up, eventually overwhelming even McMahons admiration for his testicular fortitude.
