4. King Of Bling
Towards the end of his WWE run, Bret would get a little more vicious with his insults, threatening Shawn Michaels with homophobic slurs and threats such as "I'm gonna kick your scrawny little ass". Back in 1993, however, Bret's insults were a little more innocent. After winning the King of the Ring tournament after a career defining night of action (in which Bret won three classic matches against Razor Ramon, Mr. Perfect and Bam Bam Bigelow), Bret's reward was a ludicrous looking oversized gold crown and purple cape. While this kind of gear looked suitably hilariously on a goofy heel act such as King Booker or King Kurt Angle, sadly King Bret just looked royally ridiculous. Fortunately, the crown wouldn't remain on Bret's head for long, as Jerry 'The King' Lawler showed up on the stage to remind everyone that he was the real "King of wrestling", and that Bret was an impostor. Taking inspiration from a six-year-old child on a playground, Bret retorted with "Well, the only King you are...is the Burger King!!" Bret then walked around the stage, chanting "Burger King!" and pumping his gold plated scepter in the air before Lawler snapped and destroyed the throne, the crown, and 'the Hitman' himself. Maybe Jerry was more of a Big Mac kinda guy?
