Today, The Dudley Boyz is a team that consists solely of Bubba Ray and D-Von. Returning to WWE in the Summer of 2015, the duo have been teaming together on and off since 1996. Originally, they didn't enter ECW alone. In fact, there was a large clan of Dudley brothers, all with interesting and weird gimmicks to back them up. As aforementioned, Joel Gertner was the manager of the group. For the purpose of this role, he was named 'Studly Dudley', but that wasn't even the most bizarre or comedic name. Amongst others, there was 'Sign Guy' Dudley, who would communicate only through traditional wrestling signs, 'Spike' Dudley (who had a run in the WWF following ECW's demise) and 'Chubby' Dudley. Other members included 'Big Dick' Dudley, a huge man who was used as little more than a bodyguard, 'Snot' Dudley and 'Dances With' Dudley. Completing the faction was the interestingly-named 'Dudley' Dudley, and the group also had various other 'guest' members. The Dudleyz were said to be the result of 'Daddy' Dudley, a man who traversed America making women pregnant. What an utterly crazy gimmick, and something that definitely wouldn't fly in the current climate.
