Fans will always remember Hulk Hogan’s legendary battles with Randy Savage, Andre The Giant, The Ultimate Warrior and Roddy Piper in the '80s and early '90s. They remain some of the biggest, most financially successful matches in the history of the wrestling business. Those classics helped bring the sport back into the mainstream once again, and made Hogan a global icon.

However, there’s also quite a few feuds that The Hulkster would probably like you to forget ever happened, dude.

It’s not much of a secret within the industry, but Hogan is known to have a bit of an ego. He likes to be the centre of attention, but is unable to step back and see the bigger picture. That means he is very willing to take part in some terrible angles and matches, as long as the end result is an attempt to make him look good. On quite a few occasions, though, it has backfired in hilarious fashion.

Believe it or not, there are matches Hogan has been in that are even more ridiculous than Shawn Michaels over-selling to the moon at SummerSlam 2005. At least that one was fun to watch. The ones here are just painful.

Here are the top 10 most ridiculous Hulk Hogan matches.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
