10 Most Ridiculous Hulk Hogan Matches Ever

1. Hogan Vs. The Giant - Monster Truck Sumo Match, WCW Halloween Havoc 1995

To this day, wrestling historians are still unsure how beating your opponent in a monster truck match in any way makes you the physically superior competitor. Hulk Hogan and The Giant might as well have had a Chinese buffet eating contest to see who was better. It would have been a lot cheaper, and less convoluted to set up.

On top of the Cobo Hall arena, Hogan and Giant had custom monster trucks ready to engage in battle. The trucks were welded together, and the wrestlers had to push each other out of a giant circle. Luckily they each had a driver along with them in case things got too extreme.

Well, Hogan obviously won, as the man was not about to put over anyone, even if was in a monster truck. Post-match, Giant attempted to attack Hogan, and ended up falling off the building. Ooops! Giant showed up 15 minutes later looking no worse for wear despite, you know, falling off that building to his death.

The two then had a match, which amped up the ridiculousness to unheard of levels with a mummy that was supposed to resemble a Yeti locking Hogan in a weird, pseudo-sexual sandwich with The Giant.

Amazingly, WCW didn’t die that night out of embarrassment.
