8. Goldberg.

When Big Billy Jackhammer returned in late 2016 he was booked pretty perfectly. He demolished Brock Lesnar in stunning fashion and had a brief but memorable stint in the Royal Rumble match to further his feud with The Beast leading into WrestleMania 33, where the two had a fantastic hoss fight which definitely didn't need to involve the Universal title.

The fact is, Goldberg ran through Kevin Owens in seconds and did the same thing to The Fiend in Riyadh three years later, taking the Universal Championship from both younger men who would have benefitted immeasurably from a victory over Goldberg.

Two promising stars, dimmed by Big Bill's big drawing power. There was also that match with The Undertaker at Super Showdown 2019 which had everybody cringing for the longest nine-and-a-half minutes of our collective lives. Mercifully, Goldberg's attempts to prise the WWE belt from both Drew McIntytre and Bobby Lashley were unsuccessful. Just keep Da Man far away from Saudi Arabia. And from Big E.
