Retribution has been beaten to death since its debut, but there's no way the group of misguided bargain bin horror villains could be left off a list like this. From a booking perspective, at least, they could have been really great, if only WWE had made every single choice differently.
The masks, the names, the fact they signed contracts with the company they were trying to hack, or destroy, or something. Adding Mustafa Ali into the mix as the mastermind behind the group - and the much-too-late reveal that he was the SmackDown hacker - could have sent them in the right direction... only they were booked to lose almost every week.
Even after the stable's miserable and limp dissolution, T-Bar and Mace carried on as a tag team until being mercifully split up by the 2021 Draft. This one half-baked and directionless faction stalled the careers of everyone involved in it; presumably including the deluded soul who pitched the name 'Slapjack'.
