10. Sexual Chocolate Mark Henry
In the summer of 1999 the WWF wanted to send a message to Henry. Marvellous Mark had been on the books for a few years but had, until that point, shown very little aptitude for pro-wrestling. WWF officials had to be disappointed with his progress. They were also, apparently, unhappy with his weight and devised a storyline where his friend and former Nation member D-Lo Brown got him into shape by forcing him to eat healthy and exercise. Henry turned on Brown only to rejoin him a short time later and apologise for his actions. See, Henry was going through some tough times and admitted that he had an addiction. A sex addiction. Henry poured his heart out, claiming that his addiction had cost him his money, his best friend and his fiancé. Henry, who was now referring to himself as 'sexual chocolate' had previously developed an attraction towards Chyna and had been involved in a controversial angle with a transvestite but the worst was yet to come. During the therapy sessions that followed Henry admitted that his first sexual encounter was with his sister when he was aged eight and that he was still knocking her off as recently as two days ago. This was Russo-esque shock TV at its worst and a damning indictment of WWF creative in 1999. Henry ditched his female doctor for a male one who, naturally, turned out to be gay. So he fired him too and hired an older woman who turned out to be attracted to Henry. So she was gone and Henry decided to quench his sexual thirst and teamed up with the Godfather before turning on him in order to secure the 'services' of his ho's. Yup. The punchline to this whole debacle? Mae Young giving birth to a rubber hand.
