Former WWF diva The Kat (or Miss Kitty) had a short but memorable career in wrestling. Like all WWF divas of the period, The Kat was required to wear skimpy clothing, compete in bikini contests and do all manner of sexually provocative acts on television. The Kat, who was married to commentator Jerry 'The King' Lawler, would gladly do this. And then some. At Armageddon 1999 The Kat won the WWF Women's Championship in a four-way evening gown pool match (ah, the Attitude Era) after tripping Ivory, Jacqueline and Barbara 'BB' Bush of their evening gowns. Feeling left out, The Kat then took her own gown off before topping that by briefly exposing her breasts to the audience. It was a bold stunt by the WWF which got them in what water with several parties, including the PTC and pay-per-view providers. The Kat bared 'em again at Insurrextion 2000 after Terri Runnels pulled off her to following her loss in an arm wrestling contest. The Kat, rather than being annoyed, seemed to enjoy it. In early 2001 The Kat began feuding with the RTC over the 'right to nudity' but the feud was quietly dropped when The Kat was fired. For a time though, The Kat was one of the most risqué performers on the roster.
