Wedding ceremonies typically are followed by honeymoons or, at the very least, a reception. Teddy Long left his wedding to attend a “local medical facility”, as WWE might put it.

Following this, the couple were serenaded by a live performance of Meet Me at the Altar by Jagged Edge, complete with the sight of Vince McMahon awkwardly swaying back and forth in his chair.

Following this, Jillian Hall stomped her way to the ring to decry the performance and wanted to give one of her own before being dragged out. The Godfather was next down the ramp, interrupting the ceremony to start a ho train and leading out nearly all of Long and Marshall’s guests.

Finally, it was time for the vows and one final interruption: Long’s heart giving out. The General Manager stopped before “I do”, suffering a kayfabe heart attack that saw him fall into a coma.

To make matters worse, Marshall left the company due to creative differences soon after and the story trailed off without a real ending - breaking Long’s heart for the second time.
