4. Raw Is Nicholas
One of the minor story arcs heading in to WrestleMania 34 was the big reveal as to who Braun Strowman's mystery partner would be to challenge for the Raw Tag Team Championships. Would it be a returning legend? A current superstar coming back from injury? An NXT call-up?
Turns out, it was none of the above.
Instead, Strowman chose a child called Nicholas - later reported to be the real-life son of WWE official John Cone - out of the crowd, leaving all the other children looking as cross as they could. Of course, the fourth grader never got physically involved in the bout, although it would have been some sight seeing him receive a Cesaro Swing.
There have been plenty of weird and wacky champions throughout wrestling history, but a ten-year old child is right up there as one of the downright stupidest ideas to make it out of the creative meeting.
