10 Most Shocking Things WWE Have Done In 2018 (So Far)
2. The Streak Conqueror
Ever since his return to WWE on the post-WrestleMania edition of Raw in 2012, Brock Lesnar has ran roughshod over anyone that's came his way, breaking arms and smashing faces in the process.
After ending The Undertaker's WrestleMania undefeated streak, Brock has now ended another streak, this one being the record for longest championship reign of the modern era. His current reign as Universal Champion began on 2 April 2017, with the number of days sitting at 450.
The record that stood before him? CM Punk's 434-day reign as WWE Champion. Brock breaking Punk's history-making reign is yet another step in WWE's mission to remove all mentions of the latter from the company. Unlike Punk, Lesnar's recent run with the gold hasn't been received too well by the fans, with just six televised title defences throughout his reign.
Of course, there's the rumours that he'll likely be gone from WWE by the end of the year so at hopefully it won't be long until we see the Universal Title on TV again.
