If you ask a wrestling fan for a textbook example of a shock victory in WWE, they'll more than likely say this one.

The Kid, as he was known in 1993, was but a humble cruiserweight in a big man's world when he squared off against established star, Razor Ramon, on a May 1993 episode of Monday Night Raw.

The Kid managed to get the crowd behind him, but he was being decimated by the much bigger, much more imposing Ramon. It became clear that this was simply just another squash match to get Razor over. Or was it?

In a shocking turn of events, The Kid managed to hit a moonsault attack onto Ramon and score an unexpected victory.

This result had huge ramifications, not only for The Kid - who adopted the name "The 1-2-3 Kid" as a result of this win - but also for WWE as a whole.

The Kid would go on to have a hugely successful career, perhaps most notably under the name X-Pac as a member of D-Generation X.

This moment also helped solidify Raw, which was in its debut year, as a must-see TV show, as literally anything could happen on the programme.

It doesn't get much better than this when it comes to shock victories and it has become a classic WWE moment for very good reason.
