When Brock Lesnar was named number one contender to John Cena's WWE World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam 2014, few could have predicted the astronomical ass-kicking that would await the champ at the Staples Centre.

The longest bout in our list, the 16 minute mauling by Lesnar was like watching a lion play with a wounded animal... particularly if that animal had been considered king of the Serengeti for a decade. Not only was it one of the most dominant performances in Lesnar's career, it was possibly the most one-sided main event in years and easily the most devastating loss of Cena's tenure in WWE.

With Lesnar executing an F5 within moments of the opening bell, the match was his for the taking from then on. Cena's limited offence was largely ineffective and it seemed like it was just a matter of time before a new champion was crowned.

A spine shortening 16 German Suplexes later, that proved to be exactly the case and Lesnar put away his PPV tackling dummy with another F5 for good measure. In emphatic fashion, the conqueror of 'The Streak' laid waste to WWE's Superman and gained his second big scalp within six months.

With such a barbaric display, the question wasn't who could beat Lesnar, but if it was even possible at all.
