With Brock Lesnar running roughshod through any and all opposition that dared to step in his way, few gave Bill Goldberg a hope in hell when he made his return to WWE in 2016.
While Goldberg had vanquished 'The Beast' once before at WrestleMania XX, that was over 12 years ago and WCW's iconic slayer of men hadn't stepped foot in WWE since. By contrast, Lesnar was on the roll of a lifetime and had made himself a legend by conquering streaks. Goldberg didn't stand a chance.
