In October 2005, WWE Raw returned to the USA Network. That could be considered a surprise return in itself, given how WWE had previously left the network for TNN / Spike. But the big shocker, was all of the McMahon family returns that night, and what they ended up doing on the show. Stephanie hadn't been seen in two years, and Shane McMahon hadn't been featured since Survivor Series 2003. Vince himself had rarely been on television in the period, and there had been an overall noticeable lack of McMahon family for a while. So when they all came out, and proceeded to take stunners off Stone Cold Steve Austin, it was both unexpected and thrilling. Stephanie's blonde hair and new look also created a bit of a stir. But maybe the biggest unexpected shock was Linda McMahon's return. She'd also been absent from WWE television for two years, and the world really was shocked when even she took a stone cold stunner!
