10 Most Shocking WWE Revelations Ever

8. Jason Jordan?!

Odd sh*t, this, but a captivating case all the same.

After weeks of teasing out the reveal, the company sent out the Olympian to cut the most complex character re-write since the days of inadvertently outing himself as a literal animal lover.

As Angle explained, Jordan was the product of fleeting college relationship, and thus put up for adoption without any of Kurt's prior knowledge. On a WWE Network special following the flagship show, they even went to the trouble of fleshing out the story, explaining that the former Tag Team Champion had tracked down his birth mother through a gumshoe detective before discovering with some trepidation the entire truth.

Ultimately, it doomed Jordan's American Alpha unit with Chad Gable, but at least an American hero was reunited with his estranged son so the two could spend the rest of the career working together, right. Right?

Regrettably not. A dynamic and gifted performer on his best day, the bizarre turn of events may yet prove to be Jordan's final chapter. Neck injuries sustained whilst mired in Raw's midcard shelved him in early 2018, and, as of writing, he's been unable to return. He was comically and conspicuously absent from Kurt's own retirement celebrations around WrestleMania 35.
