9. Steve Austin Eliminates Bret Hart (1997)

Now you just gotta feel sorry for poor ol' Bret here. Despite having seemingly eliminated Austin himself only a few minutes prior, The Hitman found himself going flying over the top courtesy of The Rattlesnake, who won the match in the process. As it turned out, the referees hadn't seen Austin's elimination owing to a coincidencal distraction involving Cactus Jack and Terry Funk, and so Austin was declared the winner! It was totally unfair, but what could you do? Those were the breaks back then.
