Not so much thanks to the person eliminating him, as Bray Wyatt was rightly being given a deserved mini-push as this year's Rumble's THAT GUY, but more for the fact that it a) came out of nowhere, b) was as basic an elimination as you could ever see in a Rumble and c) meant that the fan's first choice was gone with the match barely halfway through. The reaction to Daniel Bryan's limp exit spoke for itself: an initial stunned silence quickly turned to ferocious booing, with the match never getting its momentum back and Roman Reign's eventual victory being marred by the anger of those who felt the event's should-be winner was screwed by poor booking.
