10 Most Succesful TNA Wrestlers In WWE

2. Samoa Joe

Much like Bobby Roode, Samoa Joe is way too good to be stuck in developmental forever. However, you just never know exactly what WWE is going to do, so while it's possible he'll never get out of NXT, we can surely agree that he's done one hell of a job there.

Before his newest journey, Joe was used to various levels of success in TNA. They did an impressive job of building him up as an unbeatable monster when he first entered the company, but despite receiving a great crowd response and delivering fantastic matches, creative never seemed willing to make Joe the number one guy. It was a huge missed opportunity. By the end of his run there, he was frustratingly forgettable and made a lackey in the Beat Down Clan.

His signing with WWE was greeted with a lot of enthusiasm, and he currently looks more motivated than he's been in years. The version of Joe we see now is the one that we should have been watching all along, but politics, and likely a bit of burnout after being teased with so many start and stop pushes over the years, seemed to have curbed his enthusiasm for the business at one point.

Hopefully Joe does get that big run on the main roster, as money feuds with Roman Reigns, John Cena and his old TNA friend A.J. Styles await him.

And that friend is the guy we should rightfully close out on...

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
