10 Most Succesful TNA Wrestlers In WWE

9. Mickie James

Well, speaking of Mickie James, she deserves mention here too.

Long before The Knockouts Division, James (as Alexis Laree) appeared in the early days of TNA. She was actually on the very first weekly pay-per-view show, competing in the lingerie battle royal. That's probably not how she dreamed of making her national television debut. She disappeared from the company for nearly a year, and came back with an actual character the second time around when she joined The Gathering.

The biggest match of her run there was likely teaming up with Raven and Julio Dinero to face Brian Lee, Slash and Shane Douglas in a losing effort. The bout remains memorable, as she remains the only woman to have ever competed in a Clockwork Orange House of Fun match.

James then went to OVW (WWE's old developmental territory), for awhile before being promoted to the main roster with a nice push as the stalker of Trish Stratus. She enjoyed a lot of success in the company before being suddenly let go, and then once again returned to TNA and became Knockouts Champion.

Much like Punk on the list, her run was so short that she’s not really identified as a TNA wrestler, so her ranking isn't as high as it would have been if she was there for an extended amount of time.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
