Had Kaval/Senshi/Low-Ki joined NXT within the past year, it's likely his WWE experience would have gone a lot better for him.

He was in TNA during the early days of the company, competing in the excellent team of Triple X along with Elix Skipper and Christopher Daniels. He captured the X Division title on multiple occassions, and looked slated to be one of the cornerstones of the company for years.

Low-Ki left, though, and signed on with WWE in 2008. At one point it was planned for him to portray a fake Rey Mysterio and battle him on the main roster. When that idea fell through, he was placed on the second season on NXT, and paired with LayCool, which seemed like a rib. Still, the notoriously serious wrestler excelled. Despite being well out of his wheelhouse by having to do so much lame comedy, he ended up winning the competition that season.

He was briefly called up to the main roster, and only spent five months total on television before being released from his contract. It was once again another potential great signing by WWE, but they didn't bother to play to the talent's strengths before letting him go.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
