UFC matches going fewer than 10 minutes is less a creative decision than it is the fact that's just typically how long it takes for its fighters to put their opponents away, to be fair.

But WWE definitely seems to have borrowed a page from their play-book when it comes to the booking of Brock Lesnar, whose singles matches - rarely going beyond six or seven minutes - usually follow the formula of a big start, big moves, and then a big finish.

Some have complained that this means his bouts often seem to end just as they are getting started, but on the flip side, for the six minutes and 25 seconds he was trading heavy blows with Samoa Joe at Great Balls of Fire, absolutely nobody was seen heading for the restroom.
