10 Most Successful Things WWE Borrowed From Other Promotions
3. Women's Division (UFC)
WWE has, officially, had a women's division since the 1950s, but given that a single performer - The Fabulous Moolah - held the title for nearly half that time, and much of the remaining half was spent contesting "Bra and Panties" matches, wrestling historians mostly agree that it's only over the last two or three years that they've started to treat it with any real seriousness.
Not so coincidentally, this is precisely the same period during which female fights - thanks in no small part to Ronda Rousey (who we might be seeing in a WWE ring very soon) - have rapidly become one of the main attractions of the UFC, so much so that they regularly headline pay-per-view events. You know, like Charlotte and Sasha Banks did last year.
