The brothers Colón teamed together briefly in 2008 and '09, but experienced a decent amount of success in that time. That success was practically instant, as two weeks after making their debut as a team they defeated then-champions Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins to win the WWE Tag Team Championship.

They then moved into a story with the Bella Twins and the World Tag Team Championship team The Miz & John Morrison, a story that would end with Carlito and Primo defeated MizMo for their titles on the WrestleMania XXV pre-show. In doing so, they became the first unified tag team champions in company history.

That was about as good as it got for the brothers however, and by the end of the summer they had not only lost their titles but disbanded completely. They did tease a reunion in 2010, but two weeks after joining forces once more Carlito was released.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
