10 Most Surprising WWE Veterans
8. R-Truth (10 Years)
Admittedly R-Truth does feel like a veteran of the ring. He hasn't won a singles match in about four years, which is a record that can only be held by a wrestler over the age of 40 (unless your name is Curt Hawkins).
However, it's kind of surprising to learn just how long the man formerly known as K-Kwik has been tied to WWE. He rejoined the company in 2008, meaning he's now been on the Vince McMahon payroll more than a decade.
The highlight of this run, it should go without saying, came during the middle of 2011, when Truth turned heel for the first time under his new guise and began a WWE Title feud with John Cena, narrowly missing out on his chance to become champion at Capitol Punishment.
He has fallen down the ladder somewhat in the seven years since, granted, but he clearly still has plenty to offer the business. How many other wrestlers his age are still earning a living performing for the world's number one promotion?
