Ever since the Money in the Bank stipulations were announced, we knew we'd be in for a hell of a ride. Watching a dozen wrestlers race through WWE HQ to reach the coveted briefcases promised to be terrific entertainment and, for the most part, WWE delivered.
It wasn't all great - poor Dana Brooke was made to look like a chump in her first big PPV match, and WWE conveniently reinventing the rules of a ladder match to justify Otis' 'win' was ridiculous. However, there was more than enough top-grade insanity to qualify the match as a success
Asuka's dive at the start; surprise cameos from Brother Love and Doink the Clown; Baron Corbin accidentally cursing himself to seven years bad luck; Undertaker apparently having his own crypt in Stamford, Connecticut... honestly, if you haven't watched the match yet, you owe it to yourself to do so. You're guaranteed to find something that'll make you pop.
Frantic, madcap action from start to finish, Money in the Bank 2020 was a worthy addition to WWE's growing portfolio of cinematic wrestling clashes.
