10 Most Totally Random WWE Matches Ever

5. The Rock Vs. Erick Rowan - WrestleMania 32

WrestleMania 32, the worst and most inexplicable of the modern stadium shows, yielded this, the most bizarre footnote ever to a legendary career.

You'd think competition was vast, since the pro wrestler tends to circle the drain before the industry gives up on them, not the other way 'round. But Steve Austin went out on a classic, against the Rock. Terry Funk - Terry Funk! - somehow contrived to work Jerry Lawler one last time in a 2017 South Carolina six-man. Even Ric Flair enjoyed a nice enough, circular retirement match against Sting in TNA, putting him over to revisit a famous chapter of a seminal career.

The Rock defeated Erick Rowan in an impromptu six second match.

It was thoroughly bizarre and almost as counterproductive. The Rock made a cameo to pretend that WWE had pulled a real 100,000+ people in the building, and was interrupted by Bray Wyatt.

Wyatt proceeded to unleash some b*llocks. He chose the Rock because he was drawn to his "greatness". Rock called him a fat f*ck in response. He then tacitly told him off for not getting over enough, called him a fat f*ck again, John Cena came down to help him out, and Rock beat Rowan in an officially sanctioned match.
