10 Most Unappreciative Wrestlers Ever

4. Sable

Right from the get-go, Sable greatly outshone her then-husband Marc Mero in the WWF. During Mero's matches, Sable was the focal point for many fans, and having such a stunning woman in his corner made it difficult for many to relate to the struggles of the 'Wildman'. Quickly outgrowing her hubby, Sable became a huge star, not only in pro wrestling, but also via appearances in magazines like Playboy. The whole world wanted a piece of what Rena was selling, and Vince McMahon was only too happy to capitalise financially. As it often does, fame went to Sable's head, and the Diva started to believe she didn't need the WWF, certainly not as much as they needed her. Departing the company in 1999, Sable filed a massive lawsuit against the WWF, citing sexual harassment as her main motivation. The suit wasn't successful, and the woman would later return to the promotion in 2003, agreeing to a storyline which had her becoming Vince McMahon's mistress. This is the kind of thing that only professional wrestling can throw up, and shows that Sable's values weren't quite as pure as she'd tried to intimate several years prior.
