10 Most Uncomfortable Wrestling Storylines Ever

5. The McMahon Family Abusing Jim Ross (2005)

On an episode of RAW in 2005, WWE had the storyline that someone was going to be fired. At the end of the show, then-WWE CEO Linda McMahon gave Jim Ross a low blow and echoed her husband€™s infamous words, €˜You€™re Fired!€™ This was done to write JR off of TV for a while, as he was set to have important colon surgery. Unfortunately, WWE went even further with their twisted brand of comedy with this terrible segment: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DVaj31J18AU The segment in this video is uncomfortable to watch for two reasons. One, Mr. McMahon makes terrible puns that show just how bad his style of comedy was (a €˜crack€™ staff, Dr. Hiney, Nurse Slobber-knockers , terrible farting noises, pre-recordings of famous JR lines, etc.). Honestly, the jokes are so terrible and the sound effects so lame you€™d think they were written by a 9-year old. Two, it was quite possibly the single most insulting segment that Vince ever took part in. it€™s one of those segments that just drags on for way too long, and it€™s clear by the end of it that its sole purpose is for Vince to mock the greatest commentator in wrestling history for his own amusement. It€™s moments like these that make people ashamed to be wrestling fans, as it shows everything that€™s wrong with Vince McMahon€™s interpretation of comedy.
