There have been a few big men in the history of the business who simply work well regardless of who they're put in the ring with. In similar fashion to the match featured in the previous entry, Big Van Vader showed he could gel well with Ray Traylor.

Put them in against smaller wrestlers, and they could move at deceptive speeds. Put them in against one another, and the results were still highly enjoyable. By 1994, Traylor had signed on to WCW and was going under the guise of 'The Guardian Angel'.

The gimmick was loosely based on his previous persona as the Big Boss Man, albeit with a twist related to the real-life Guardian Angels organisation.

Most wrestling fans remember Bash At The Beach '94 as Hulk Hogan's WCW pay-per-view debut, but that wasn't all the show had to offer. In the second bout of the evening, Vader would defeat The Guardian Angel by disqualification in true battle of the behemoths.

The ending may not have fully satisfied, but the actual content of the match was hard-hitting and rewarding.
