The picture accompanying this particular entry shows what lengths ECW wrestlers were willing to go to in order to wow fans and make a splash. At the Anarchy Rulz 2000 pay-per-view discussed in the previous entry, Justin Credible vs. Jerry Lynn would prove to be the main event. That match was also for the ECW Heavyweight Title. Rewind just over 24 months earlier, and Credible was squaring off with Lynn in the opening match of the Heatwave 1998 pay-per-view. At the time, both had emerged as promising performers on the ECW roster, but weren't exactly in the main event picture. It was performances like the one they posted at Heatwave that convinced Paul Heyman they could be. For a start, the finishing Tombstone Piledriver (known as That's Incredible by Justin in ECW) is shockingly brutal-looking. It's not the only highlight, there's a reason Lynn and Credible were later chosen to headline together. They always worked well during their matches, and opened the Heatwave event in the best way possible. That finish also deserves to be watched more than once.
