10. Vs. Ric Flair (WWE Monday Night Raw, June 3rd, 2002)
It's sad to think that Steve Austin and Ric Flair only had a short rivalry towards the end of Austin's career. The pair did team up once in during the early-1990's, and The Hollywood Blondes also faced Ric Flair and Arn Anderson in WCW. However, when Austin was known as 'Stone Cold', there were limited occasions when he went head-to-head with the 'Nature Boy'. Thankfully, one such bout does exist in WWE between both men. On one episode of Monday Night Raw in June, 2002, Flair and Austin went close to 15 minutes. This was shortly before Austin elected to walk out on the company, which would signal the end of his full-time run with the promotion. At least fans got to see this one happen before that time. Incredibly, nobody really talks about it. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x253gx_steve-austin-vs-ric-flair_sport By the time the match happened, Flair was noticeably coming to the end of his shelf life. He'd soldier on until 2008 in WWE, but the amount of great matches he had wasn't huge. On a more cheerful note, Steve Austin managed to bring out the best in him here, and it's clear to see that both guys enjoyed locking horns.
