10 Most Underappreciated Wrestling Moves
9. Edge's Flapjack
Edge has one of the crispest movesets of any wrestler past or present. And oddly enough the move he's most celebrated for, the Spear, always seems a bit light in comparison to its other users. That's not to say it doesn't hurt - it looks pretty gosh darn painful - but compared to Goldberg's or even some of Roman Reigns' Spears, it sits on the lower end of the “holy poop” spectrum. Unless a ladder or a flaming table comes into the mix, then you've got a fistful of ouch.
So it's lucky that every other move Edge regularly performed looks amazing. The Edge-O-Matic and Edge-ucator in particular are vicious, capable of being believable and exciting finishing manoeuvres in their own right, and not just for the delicious puns. But it's Edge's Flapjack that just amazes. The precision with which he grabs his opponent, the height of the lift and that final punctuated push on the back. No matter the opponent, Edge's Flapjack always impresses.
