10 Most Underrated UFC Bouts Of 2019

1. Cub Swanson Vs. Kron Gracie (UFC Fight Night 161)

If you're looking for the most ridiculously vicious end-to-end contest of 2019, look no further than Cub Swanson vs. Kron Gracie at UFC Tampa.

The eight year UFC veteran, Swanson, tried to find a way to cut down the bigger Gracie with savage body shots early on. Yet, Gracie kept moving forward and landed some wicked hits whilst his rival retreated.

In the second, Swanson continued his work on Gracie's mid-section, but that couldn't stop the grappling gold medallist connecting with his own sickening hooks. As both men were struggling to put each other away, Gracie then decided to try and take down his opponent to no avail and a bloody dogfight ensued.

Matching each other shot for shot, the two Featherweights both ate a vast amount of heavy shots and refused to back down from one another.

Gracie failed in taking down Swanson again in the third and final round and it appeared that Swanson's superior defence had paid dividends, with the battered warrior earning a unanimous decision victory after one of the most competitive encounters in UFC history.

Gracie may have lost this Fight of the Night contest. But, in refusing to let up and continually throwing down against one of the company's oldest stalwarts, his stock definitely rose and expect to see him crop up in another Fight of the Year contender come 2020.
