10 Most Underrated Wrestlers In The World Today

9. SANADA

It's easy for wrestlers to get lost on New Japan Pro Wrestling's ridiculous roster. The promotion's working standard is extremely high, and while the likes of Kazuchika Okada and Kenny Omega are rightly regarded among the best in the world, the roster's exceptional quality extends all the way to its lower reaches.

NJPW can't push everyone at once, and great talents are forced to wait patiently for their time in the spotlight. We saw this recently with Katsuyori Shibata, who waited five years for a crack at the IWGP Heavyweight Championship. Now, it looks like SANADA is in the same position.

Omitting the former TNA man's name when discussing the best NJPW has to offer is unfair. He's yet to produce a career-defining singles match, but that's because he primarily competes in multi-man tags. Nonetheless, SANADA always looks impressive, particularly while competing against the Okadas and Hiroshi Tanahashis of the world, with his athleticism and effortless smoothness standing out in particular.

SANADA is a megastar in the making, and when NJPW finally decide to strap the rocket to him, the world will have no choice but to stand up and take notice.
