10 Most Underrated Wrestlers In WWE Today

6. Neville

Neville is one of the best high-fliers in the world and a top notch mat wrestler. Audiences rightly rave about his dazzling Red Arrow finisher and penchant for all things gravity-defying, but there’s so much more to him than that. Neville wrestles like a main eventer, makes everyone he faces look good without exception, and has proven he can excel anywhere on the card, from opening Raw to headlining NXT: TakeOver specials.

WWE don’t know what they have with Neville. Instead of letting him go out and get over on his exceptional work rate, they put a cape over his shoulders and treat him like a goof. WWE have presented Neville without direction or purpose: he’s become “just another guy” in the company’s crowded mid-card when he should be a mainstay at the top of the Intercontinental Title division.

There’s a great opportunity to reboot and repackage Neville as a legitimate competitor upon his return from injury, particularly with the increased airtime allowed by the forthcoming Brand Split. Let’s see if WWE take it.
