10 Most Underrated WWE Feuds Of The 2010s

9. Eve Torres Vs. Kaitlyn (2012-2013)

If you don't think Eve Torres and Kaitlyn had a hand in starting the Women's Evolution, then you, dear reader, are wrong.

Although they weren't the ones to have an overly convoluted storyline or participate in these long, drawn-out, marquee matches, they were at the forefront of the changeover. Not only were they the final Divas Champions before AJ Lee's title reign began to officially kickstart the change, but Eve and Kaitlyn went from having meaningless, two-minute-long winner-becomes-general-manager's-assistant matches on SmackDown, to having five-minute-long title matches on a special 20th anniversary episode of Raw.

Is that a huge change by today's standards? No. Far from it, really. In 2012/13, though, it was imperative that the then-Divas got these opportunities from time to time.

Of course, it helped that their matches were often solid. Their final match in January 2013, for example, was a corker. Eve used the ringside area to inflict as much damage to Kaitlyn as possible, but her in-ring showboating cost her as Kaitlyn pounced on her with a perfectly executed Spear.

It's a shame that not many people speak fondly of this rivalry anymore. That they both wouldn't look a step out of place in today's landscape is a testament to how crucially unique they were for their time period.
