10 Most Underrated WWE Stars Of The Attitude Era

1. Shane McMahon

Shane McMahon has wrestling in his blood and from a very early age he was involved with his father€™s company in one form or another. As a teenager he worked hard every night as part of WWF€™s ring crew, and then as he got older he was made a WWF referee known as Shane Stevens. He first appeared as himself in 1998 as the WWF focused more on the drama of the McMahon family. He stepped out of his father€™s shadows to lead an on-screen takeover of the company for a while, until it was revealed that it was all part of Vince McMahon€™s master plan as the mysterious €œHigher Power€. Shane could have been content in this on-screen role, but he would often step into the ring himself and constantly surprised fans at how good he actually was. He had one of the best matches at WrestleMania XV with X-Pac and made jaws drop around the world as he regularly fell/lept from the Titantron structure. Shane left WWE in 2010 to pursue ventures outside of wrestling, and was named CEO of China Broadband Inc, a cable and broadcasting company within the People€™s Republic of China. While he shows no signs of ever returning to wrestling, many fans around the world would do anything to hear the call of €œHere Comes The Money€ just one more time.
