6. Billy Gunn

Billy Gunn was a man of many gimmicks during his time as an active wrestler, and his first characters in the WWF includd one-half of The Smokin€™ Gunns and The Honky Tonk Man€™s protege, Rockabilly. He later allied with Jeff Jarrett€™s roadie, Jesse James, and together they became The New Age Outlaws. Together, the New Age Outlaws were one of the most successful tag teams in WWF history, picking up a total six Tag Team Championships over their career. Billy Gunn himself was seen to be a breakout star in the making and as such he went on to with the 1999 King of the Ring, defeating X-Pac in the finals. During The Attitude Era, Billy Gunn was known as €œMr. Ass€ and came out to the ring with the instantly memorable €œAss Man€ music. The New Age Outlaws were drafted into Triple H€™s DX Army in 1998 following Shawn Michaels€™ departure and were the perfect fit for the sophomoric stable that D-Generation X was known to be. The New Age Outlaws returned to the WWE in early 2014 and turned heel, aligning themselves with Triple H€™s Authority. They won the WWE Tag Team Championships from Cody Rhodes and Goldust but lost them a month later to The Usos, and later were demolished by The Shield at WrestleMania XXX.
