10 Most Undeserving Hell In A Cell Competitors In WWE History
5. Paul Heyman
A year after Ryback v CM Punk at Hell in a Cell, the two met up again but this time in a handicap match with Paul Heyman on The Big Guy's side. CM Punk had been feuding with Paul Heyman since Heyman cost him the Money in the Bank briefcase, and Ryback inserted himself in the feud and became a new "Paul Heyman Guy" when he saved Heyman two months earlier at Night of Champions. The feud between Heyman and Punk had been escalating for months and it was heated enough that a Hell in a Cell made sense for once. Unfortunately, Paul Heyman is not, and never was, a professional wrestler. He came out to the ring in a cherry picker which he had trouble steering. When he eventually made it to the cell, he used it to get to the top of the cage and that's where he stayed for the fourteen minute match. The entire reason of this was to get the shot of Punk thrashing Heyman with the kendo stick on the top of the cell, but there are ways to achieve that. There have been very few Hell in a Cell participants, and it's a match that still a big deal. In a few years, Paul Heyman's Hell in a Cell appearance will be nothing more than a piece of trivia to stump fans when asked to name Cell competitors.
