Upon first appearing on WWE television, Vickie Guerrero was a sympathetic character. The wife of Eddie Guerrero, she would stand by her husband's side, occasionally used when the promotion wanted to add a human touch to storylines.

That all changed when Eddie sadly passed away, and Vickie was brought into the fold and became a top heel authority figure.

Nobody could have foretold such a twist, because there was nothing immediately unlikeable about Vickie. Cunningly, she made use of her shrill voice to drive fans crazy and lead to mass volumes of heat being rained down on her character.

All Vickie had to do was say Excuse Me', two simple words that became her catchphrase and calling card.

For years, Guerrero - whether as General Manager or ringside valet - would emerge and utter the phrase. Eventually, she didn't even need to say a thing for several minutes, people just loved booing her out of the building.

Once she did then open her mouth, Vickie drew impressive heat from crowds and the phrase became synonymous with her character.
