5. Al Snow's Head

When scanning the period, it's easy to spot so many sexual references during the 'Attitude Era'.

Not only were D-Generation X encouraging everyone to 'Suck It', but characters like The Godfather (pimp) and Val Venis (porn star) were rampant. Then, somewhere in the mix, Al Snow offered 'Head' to all who would listen.

Actually created during his time in the original ECW, the Al Snow persona was brought to the WWF in 1998. This was a second chance for the man, who had bombed using such woeful gimmicks as Leif Cassidy and Avatar during his first run.

Snow presented something different, the loony character carried a mannequin head to the ring with him.

His entrance theme would ask what everyone wanted, only for the live crowd to cry out 'Head' with a ton of enthusiasm. For a spell, fans even brought their own polystyrene heads to shows with them, waving them wildly in the air as Snow made his way to down the ramp.

The gimmick was quirky, but that was part of the attraction. Still, referencing 'Head' was a one-note joke that somehow had lasting appeal.
