10 Most Unmemorable Title Reigns In WWE History

5. Jinder Mahal (WWE Championship)

The reason most people remember Jinder Mahal even held the WWE Championship is that folks were critical of the promotion's decision to hand him the strap. This criticism stemmed in part from the fact that, in a relatively brief period, Mahal transitioned from being a border-line enhancement talent to holding the richest prize in the game.

Still, regardless of the decision, 'The Modern Day Maharaja's run as WWE's top dog didn't exactly produce a ton of great moments. Truth be told, there aren't any classic feuds or iconic segments associated with one of the more unlikely WWE Champions in recent memory.

It's fair to assume there aren't a ton of fans out there who are frantically searching the WWE Network to watch Mahal take on Baron Corbin or relive the not so highly anticipated return of the Punjabi prison match.

Sure, bad booking was partially to blame, but that often comes with the territory.
