10 Most Unprofessional Performances In AEW History

2. Bea Priestley’s Stupid Stunt

It all turned out OK for Bea Priestley.

As Blair Davenport in WWE, she ended up on the main roster, and clearly has supporters of some influence: she was never that over in NXT. They must look at her as a long-term prospect.

She escaped the dreaded “unprofessional” stigma from her brief time in AEW, which is fortunate. She was hardly a star there, either, and it’s usually only the top stars that are allowed to get away with it.

Much of her AEW run unfolded without incident, but Bea used the Casino Battle Royale at All Out 2019 as a platform on which to go into business for herself.

She had a preexisting “beef” with fellow entrant Sadie Gibbs. Gibbs had left a tour of STARDOM earlier that year. She suffered bereavement; Bea and then-partner Will Ospreay publicly questioned her commitment. It was an ugly chapter in his career, and Ospreay is smarter than you think: he’s clever enough to say, a lot, that he’s done a lot of growing up since.

At All Out, yelling “STUPID!” the entire time, Bea immediately targeted Sadie, thrashed her over the back, and then took a gorilla press slam. Bea popped up immediately and eliminated Sadie, who looked like a complete loser, out of the match.

Inevitably, the two almost got into it backstage for real.
