10 Most Unprofessional Performances In WWE History

4. Shawn Michaels Vs. Hulk Hogan - SummerSlam 2005

Michaels Vs. Hogan was supposed to be a two-match deal, with wins shared and hands shaken at its conclusion.

Hogan, however, having successfully lobbied to win the first encounter at the higher profile SummerSlam event, changed his mind. Being practically allergic to eating pins throughout his entire career, he wasn't about to change the habit of a lifetime. This incensed (but probably didn't surprise) Michaels, who waged war against the Hulkster's herculean ego during the promotional push.

Famously impersonating his opponent in hilarious fashion, Michaels slaughtered Hogan for his unprofessionalism, age, and boundless use of the word brother. Even during his self-described 'assh*le' days, Michaels was always a beacon of professionalism between the ropes. This wasn't the case here. Undermining Hogan's ancient-looking offence entirely, Michaels bumped around the ring in hyper-exaggerated fashion in order to make his (valid) point. There was no way a preternaturally gifted man in the form of his life should have been booked to lose against a nearly-immobile relic of a bygone era.

While neither man covered themselves in glory here, it is nonetheless a fascinating chapter in WWE's post-attitude era history.
